Drone video for manufacturers in Chicago and the suburbs
Aerial footage of your plant, yard, fleet and projects, filmed on-site and edited for LinkedIn, YouTube and the rest of your channels. Built for Chicagoland manufacturers and industrial companies.
Why drone video works for industrial companies
A manufacturing plant is hard to understand from the parking lot. From a few hundred feet up, buyers, partners and job seekers can see the size of your building, the trucks at your docks, the material in your yard and the way your operation fits together. Drone video turns that scale into something people can take in within a few seconds while scrolling LinkedIn or browsing your website.
For a lot of Chicagoland manufacturers, the facility itself is one of the strongest proof points they have. You invested in the building, the equipment and the people inside it. Aerial footage shows that investment in a way a stock photo or a list of capabilities can't.
What we film from the air
- Facility overviews. Slow reveals and orbit shots of your building, signage and campus.
- Yards and loading docks. Inventory, finished goods, trucks coming and going, shipping in action.
- Expansions and new equipment. Construction progress, new bays and big installs, documented over time.
- Jobsites and projects. Where your products end up in the field, when site access allows.
- Recruiting footage. A clear, welcoming view of where new hires will work.
Aerial plus ground: the full story
Drone shots work best when they're paired with what's happening inside. On the same shoot day we film your shop floor, machines, products and team, then cut the aerials together with ground footage. A clip might open on your building from above and drop straight into a press brake, a CNC cell or a weld line. That mix gives you content for weeks, not just one flyover video.
LinkedIn first, then everywhere else
For B2B manufacturers, LinkedIn is usually where drone video earns its keep. Purchasing managers, engineers, distributors and future hires spend time there, and a strong aerial clip on your company page signals that you're an established, capable supplier. We edit versions for LinkedIn first, then for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, plus a clean cut for your website and trade-show screens.
If you want it handled end to end, we also plan and publish the posts, so the footage doesn't sit unused on a hard drive. See all of our marketing services for manufacturers.
Safety, airspace and staying out of the way
Many Chicagoland industrial parks sit close to O'Hare, Midway and smaller airports, so airspace matters. Before shoot day we check the rules for your address, plan the flight path, and walk through any safety requirements with your contact person. On-site, we follow your PPE rules, keep clear of forklifts and overhead cranes, and work around your production schedule. If anything is off-limits to film, we leave it out.
Local to Chicagoland
Strick Media is based in Chicagoland and works with manufacturers, fabricators, machine shops, plastics processors, equipment makers and other industrial businesses across the region, from the city to the western and northwest suburbs, Northwest Indiana and southern Wisconsin. Being local means we can come back when you add a line, finish an expansion or have a big project to show off.

Drone video FAQ
Do you only fly the drone, or do you film on the ground too?
Both. Most shoot days combine aerial shots with ground footage of your shop floor, products and team, so the drone clips have context and you get a full month of content from one visit.
Where in Chicagoland do you film?
Across the city and suburbs, including industrial areas like Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Elgin, Addison, Bolingbrook, Naperville and Aurora, plus Northwest Indiana and southern Wisconsin. Further out? Ask us.
What if our facility is near O'Hare or Midway?
Many industrial parks sit in controlled airspace. We check airspace rules for your address before shoot day and plan around any limits. Ask us about drone details and insurance for your site.
Will filming disrupt production?
We plan the flight path and ground shots with your contact person ahead of time, follow your safety and PPE rules, and stay out of the way of forklifts, cranes and people at work.
Where will the drone footage be used?
Wherever it helps: LinkedIn company page posts, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, your website, recruiting posts and trade-show screens. We edit versions sized for each platform.
How do we get started?
Start with the pilot: one on-site shoot day plus a month of content and posting. Details and pricing are worked out on a short intro call.
